Interviews on RJ, prison reform, Brethren roots and other good stuff

In the past few weeks, a radio interview, YouTube videos and a web interview have been posted where I’ve talked about restorative justice, Marie’s prison work, prison reform, the Church of the Brethren and other topics. So, in case you’re interested, the links are listed below.

A wide-ranging interview with Mark Helpsmeet of Northern Spirit Radio in Eau Claire, WI on Restorative Justice, Grace Marie Hamilton’s work in the prisons, prison reform issues, the Church of the Brethren roots and influences on Marie’s work, including her experience in Brethren Volunteer Service (BVS) and other topics:

If you would, please click the “Leave a Comment” link and post your comments about this interview on the Northern Spirit radio website. This will greatly help them and supports their wonderful program. Thanks!

YouTube videos of the March 21, 2010 worship service at Circle of Peace Church of the Brethren in Arizona where Marie and I shared stories of restorative justice in action. You can find it at this link:

If the link doesn’t work, simply go to YouTube and enter the search term “Grace Goes to Prison”, then sort by “Oldest”. The different parts of the worship service will appear in order. Marie’s and my talk is contained in Parts 5 through 8.

Finally, a request: Many of you have posted reviews of Grace Goes to Prison on Amazon and I’m very grateful for all of the wonderful comments people have shared.

If you haven’t yet posted a review on Amazon, but are willing to do so – OR if you know of others who have read the book who might be willing to post a review, here is the link.

Amazon Book Review link for writing a review of Grace Goes to Prison

Just click the “Create your own review” button (Note: you’ll only be able to do this if you have made a previous purchase of any kind from Amazon and you’ll need to supply the email address and password you used when making that previous purchase in order to then write a review. You do NOT need to have purchased Grace Goes to Prison thru Amazon – any prior purchase will allow you to post reviews.)

I’ve had much-needed time with Bruce this week, and it will be really tough to say goodbye to him when I drop him off at the airport in Chicago in a few days. I miss you all, I miss “home” and can’t wait to return, but I’m also immensely grateful, humbled and deeply moved by all that I’ve learned, the people I’ve met and the opportunity to make this journey.

Less than 3 weeks now until I’m back in Etown (I’ll be back on Wed Apr 28). Then I’ll turn my attention to figuring out “what’s next” for me on this larger restorative justice mission.

Thanks so much for all of your love and support!
